Mission + Vision

Grove & Grain Leadership LLC was established to provide experiential leadership development so that more effective leadership characteristics are integrated into businesses and communities. Each leader has unique gifts and perspectives to share with the world. However, on their own, many leaders do not know how to use those unique gifts and perspectives in an effective way to meet the world's needs. There is a leadership character gap that has been widening for the past half-century. Anxiety and depression are at an all-time high and are increasing at alarming rates. The business is still not a “safe” place to be vulnerable. And, highly effective organizations are those that know how to have deep trust, bring forward healthy conflict, hold each other accountable, commit to something important, and focus on results. If businesses continue to focus on gaining profit and earnings over the ability to operate within human conditions, then the world will be in a harsher reality than today. Coaching has proven to reduce stress, increase engagement, increase retention, and increase effectiveness. Grove & Grain Leadership brings to the open market, abilities to coach and consult with high-powered leaders through a unique framework that has seen inspiring ROI. We want to share this with the world. We are providing space for leaders to be “safe” by being vulnerable, focus on what really matters to them and simultaneously, the organization, and to take action. We are also providing the expertise in operating leadership development and coaching programs, measurement methods, and program management.

About the Founder

Dave Lane is the founder of Grove & Grain Leadership LLC. He is an executive leadership Professional Certified Coach (PCC), through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and principal consultant. He brings multiple decades of building and leading diverse, global teams through warm and trusting relationships. He courageously works with leaders and teams through complex business and life challenges that produce positive and sustainable change with high ROI. With each engagement, Dave actively listens and discerns the client's needs in order to create a space where sustainable change can take place. He approaches each relationship with warmth, trust, respect, and courage to support clients as they discover new possibilities for their lives and commit to taking action towards achieving their goals. Dave provides structure and a methodology in order to navigate complex change together. In each session, the client will experience the space and container to clearly come to terms with their current reality, develop a vision of their desired future, create a plan to move towards their desired future, execute on that plan, and measure progress.​

CREDENTIALS

Dave earned his Coaching Certification from Hudson Institute of Coaching, his Professional Certified Coaching credential from the International Coaching Federation, his M.B.A. from Portland State University, and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University. He is a third generation Holocaust survivor and a follower of Jesus which has shaped and informed his approach in life. In his free time, Dave enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children, golfing, snowboarding, skiing, walking, riding bikes, playing soccer, running, writing, and reading. He loves to learn and has a hope that the best is yet to come.
